Happy Saturday Night Everyone!

We had a great week settling into our new home. Owen is already loving life at his school, he's making new friends, learning lots (including Spanish) and made it through his first touch rugby practice.

The highlight for myself and Angie was the purchase of our new electric bikes, they are a lot of fun and make exploring our little section of the city a bit easier.

Hello from Vietnam!

We had a lot go down this week, new adventures at every turn. Owen successfully navigated his first week of second grade. We all love his new school, only 15 kids and his teacher seems great...a positive start to the school year for sure.

On Friday we moved out of our apartment and into our villa in the D2 section of the city, super-close to Owen's school and cuts Angie's commute time to the factories by a bit. We also got all of our shipments from Bvtn delivered on Friday. Seeing all of our "stuff" come through the doors of our new home half-way across the world was surreal to be sure. We have spent the weekend furniture shopping and getting to know our new surroundings. I will post some more interior pictures once we have some more of the boxes unpacked. We can't wait to get a chance to host parties and visitors.

Hello from HCMC!

I'm writing this on what feels like our last day of summer.  Weird to say that, one because it is only August 10, and two, because summer weather is a constant here....but O starts his new adventure as a second-grader tomorrow so in a sense the summer break has come to and end.

We are looking forward to moving into our new villa and neighborhood on Friday and we booked our first long weekend at the beach for the end of the month so lots of fun things to look forward to.
