Hello from Vietnam!

We had a lot go down this week, new adventures at every turn. Owen successfully navigated his first week of second grade. We all love his new school, only 15 kids and his teacher seems great...a positive start to the school year for sure.

On Friday we moved out of our apartment and into our villa in the D2 section of the city, super-close to Owen's school and cuts Angie's commute time to the factories by a bit. We also got all of our shipments from Bvtn delivered on Friday. Seeing all of our "stuff" come through the doors of our new home half-way across the world was surreal to be sure. We have spent the weekend furniture shopping and getting to know our new surroundings. I will post some more interior pictures once we have some more of the boxes unpacked. We can't wait to get a chance to host parties and visitors.

Taking the bus across the city to school on day 2...such a brave soul!

Mid-week dinner and pie with friends

Last bit of night swimming at the apartment complex

Moving Day!  Some exterior shots...

Our shipment arrives

Owen has his eyes on our driver's scooter, he nicknamed it "Golden Warrior."

It is so fun for me to follow your blog and see the beautiful pictures of your surroundings. Gives me an entirely different mental image of Vietnam. Keep it coming.

Amazing. You must walk around needing to be pinched awake from a dream. Enjoy! We can't wait to see it in person.
